Farm Fresh Beef

Local Beef in Western North Carolina About Our Grass-Fed, Grain-Finished Beef

Fore Farms was established in 2015, backed by 20 years of experience in handling and working with cattle. Nested just outside of Asheville NC, our cattle roam over 60 acres of lush pastures. We at Fore Farms pride ourselves on raising the finest quality of grass-fed, grain-finished beef.

Our goal is to produce the highest standard of beef at affordable prices that surpasses your local big-box grocery stores. Fore Farms takes great care in producing healthy cattle, as evident by the delicious taste of our grass-fed, grain-finished beef. At Fore Farms, we understand that pasture to plate is the best we can offer our families and yours.

Fore Farm is proud to be certified by USDA- United States Department of Agriculture. We meet and exceed standards to label our products as USDA inspected.  Our farm is frequently inspected to ensure we are meeting standards defined by the USDA, which is one of the top reasons you should buy your beef from Fore Farm.

How it Works From Pasture to Plate

First, make your choice of ½ or whole cow. Typically, a whole cow hanging weight will be 600-800 lbs. ½ cow will be 300-400 lbs.  Please note the sizes could be smaller and we cannot guarantee an exact size until the beef is selected for processing.

Second, make your $500 deposit ½ cow or $750.00 for whole cow. Please note we only offer ¼ cow if you or a family member is willing to buy the other ¼. Deposits are non-refundable.

After receiving your deposit, please complete the beef cut sheet. Once we receive your cut sheet we will put you on the calendar for our next processing date.

Your meat will be vacuumed sealed, weighed, labeled, and frozen at the time of pick up.

Once we have the processing date confirmed we will email you an estimated time your meat will be ready for pick up within 10 days of the processing date.

Orders are picked up at our Farm Store by appointment and payment in full is due on delivery with cash only.
